A postmedieval copper alloy jetton, measuring 23.9mm in diameter, 1.2mm in thickness, and 3.3g in mass. With many thanks to Paul Cannon, who has offered the following identification: For a Nuremberg jetton of the same type see BH-33DAE4. The bust is a representation of the English Queen Anne. The reverse depicts a large church. The Mitchiner reference indicates that it was made by Lazarus Gottlieb Lauffer between 1702 and 1709. Obverse: ANNA DG MAG-BR FR ET HIB R Reverse: FVNDAMENTVM QVIETIS NOSTRAE with ECCLES ANGL in exergue.

A copper alloy jetton, probably issued by Cornelius or Lazarus Lauffer, (Master 1658, died 1711 and Master 1663, died 1709 respectively). The obverse shows a bust of King Charles II (1660-1685), laureate, facing right with the legend CAROLVS.II D G:MAG:BR.FRAN.[ET HIB:REX]. The reverse shows the crowned shield of Great Britain. The legend starts at 3 o'clock and reads [...] LAVFFERS [RECH PFEN] CO(UNTERS). The jetton is pierced at 12 o'clock with an oval hole, perhaps a nail hole. There are some cracks in the flan. A similar example but with a different reverse legend is SUSS-A2DE53.

The jetton has a central sub-oval perforation. Obverse: +CAROLVS.II.DEI.GRA[], Laureate bust of Charles II right. A Post Medieval copper alloy jetton probably dating from AD 1702 - 1714. The legends are illegible and the metal is brassy. The obverse depicts Queen Anne, draped and facing left. The flan has been peirced by a square punch close to the edge at 7 o'clock from the obverse. This jetton bears the busts of William and Mary, which dates it to their reign or shortly thereafter (cf. Mitchiner 1988: 507, nos. 1800-1801).
