A late Roman silver Siliqua. Possibly a "VRBS ROMA" or a "VIRTVS ROMANORVM" reverse type with an unknown emperor on the obverse. The coins features are very worn and the legend has been clipped, most likely due to Anglo-Saxon interference. The reverse has a seated figure, facing left, holding a vertical downward staff and an orb.
