Cast copper alloy brooch of Headstud type. Plain bow with a drum like terminal marked by two circumferential grooves. Two bands containing narrow, incised lines around each wing. Plain headstud. Pin intact and of hinged, self sprung type. Length 38.5mm, Width 14.2mm, Height 18.0mm, Mass 7.30g

Cast copper alloy brooch of 'Trumpet' type. Pin, spring and lower part of foot missing. Top of bow decorated with a series of mouldings, a large central moulding flanked by smaller mouldings. There appears to have been a wave like like incised on the larger moulding. Head expands into the eponymous trumpet which appears to have had a narrow rib down its length. On the lower face fo the head is a loop which secured the pin mechanism.

Copper alloy brooch. Cast Colchester brooch, cf. Mackreth type C Odd 1. The bow is expanded to a solid Y-shape with turned-up ends at the top, with an integrally cast backward pointing hook projecting from it, and a forward pointing loop on top, which is anchored at its outer end by a rivet of diameter 1mm. The hooks were to retain the spring, though this has become detached from its original position; it is of four coils and is now retained by the top loop only.
