Fragment, cast copper-alloy Trumpet-derivative bow brooch. Only the head and upper bow now surviving. Head-loop broken, trumet head, curving bow with sub-triangular section. Sprung pin of four turns secured with copper-alloy axis bar to two pierced semi-circular lugs on the reverse. Bent, but complete pin. Pale green/red-brown patchy patina.

Fragment, cast copper-alloy bow brooch. Folded, tubular wings housing pin spring mechanism. D-sectioned bow with narrow median ridge. There are two vertical grooves at the end of each wing and there are two irregular mouldings on the head. There is a ridge with a horizontal line either side at the junction of the head and bow and a median ridge down the bow. The pin is intact, but bent. Silvery grey patina. Two joining fragments, cast copper-alloy bow brooch;T-shaped type. Wide, tubular wings enclosing iron axis bar, only traces of which now survive. The ends of each wing are decorated at the front only with a short vertical moulding, with grooves at either side. There is a transverse moulding at the junction of the wings and bow on either side. The upper bow is sub-triangular in section, tapering in to a very narrow, pointed foot. Deep catchplate, the upper edges of which is damaged. Hinged pin missing. Slightly mottled, mid-green patina.

The three central fields are rectangular, the outer two are triangular. The fields either side of the central one are divided vertically; one of these fields retains traces of yellow enamel. Copper-alloy T-shaped brooch; incomplete. One wing, pin and foot now missing. Tubular wings housing axis bar for sprung pin. The wing has a small moulding at its end. No trace of a head-loop. The upper bow, which is quite flat has a raised flute at the surviving edge, with transverse moulding below with engraved lines at either side. There are three prominent lozenge-shaped cells on the bow with traces of central dark blue enamel settings in two of the cells. The tapering foot is triangular in section. Trace of catchplate on reverse.

Incomplete, cast copper-alloy plate brooch. Lozenge-shaped with two opposing lugs present. The other two corners are missing, but are likely to have lugged extensions also. The existing lugs have trefoil terminals. Within the centre, there is a moulded cross with rounded ends and slightly concave sides, with a circular pellet in each angle; traces of enamelling but too worn to identify the colours. There is a single perforated hinge and traces of a catch. Dark red/brown patina, very worn.

Fragment, cast copper-alloy two-piece Colchester derivative bow brooch. The missing spring and pin was held onto a vertical plate with two holes and the spring was secured to this by an axis bar passing through the coils and the lower hole. The semi-circular wings (one of which is damaged at the end) may have a faint vertical incised line at the end and there are possible traces of moulding (beneath corrosion) on the wings. The bow which tapers to the missing foot, has a median ridge resulting in a sub-triangular section. L: 26 W: 4.5-27.5
