A copper alloy Roman Headstud, hinged T-shaped brooch with toothed edge and crest shaped like a dog, c. AD 60 - 100. The bow of the brooch is decorated with seven transverse, raised ridges joined together with a central raised spine running along the bow. The shoulder of the bow carries a small, zoomorphic mount in the form of an animal, possibly a dog, with the head facing down the spine of the bow towards the foot. Copper alloy Colchester derivative, double lug, Harlow-shaped brooch dating from the 1st century (probably a Dolphin type). The brooch has long cylindrical wings which are hollow at the back and contain a spring of 18 turns (9 on each side). The spring passes through a central lug at the centre of the head. The bow has a humped back and protrudes slightly above the wings and tapers down towards the foot of the brooch. The foot, catchplate and pin do not survive. The brooch weighs 16.75g and measures 38.15mm in length, 38.5mm in width and 16.6mm in thickness (from front to back).

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Trumpet Derivative brooch of the Alcester type, dating from AD 100 - 250, missing the foot and most of the pin. The trumpet-head measures is circular and hollow. The base of an integral head loop extends from the top, but the loop itself is missing. On the reverse, two side lugs hold an intact copper alloy axis bar. Still around this are four coils of the spring pin, the remains of a chord curling underneath, and a tiny stub of pin. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy knee brooch dating from AD 150 - 250. The pin mechanism is missing. The bow is of a distinctive reversed 'S'-profile; in plan the bow tapers rapidly towards the foot, and flares again slightly at its terminal. The metal is very corroded. The disc is flat (1.8mm thick) and is decorated with a six-pointed star around a single copper alloy pellet of reserved metal. The points of the star each terminate in a rounded knop.
