A Medieval silver-gilt heart-shaped brooch of 15th century date. The brooch has a D-shaped cross section; the front surface is decorated with ridges to give the impression of a cabled frame. The back of the brooch is undecorated. To one side of the heart shape is a constriction for the pin, which remains intact. Gilding remains on boths surfaces, particually toward the outer edges. The brooch is 20.4mm long, 19.5mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 3.41grams. A similar example can be seen on the database: YORYM-E48994/2006 T103.

A silver or silver plated annular brooch of probable Late Medieval or Early Post Medieval date (c. 1400 AD - c. 1600 AD). The oval hoop (3.8mm in width) is convex at the front and concave at the rear and has a constriction for pin. Either side of the constriction are two decorative transverse grooves. The tapering silver sheet pin has no decoration. The reverse has the letters 'ON' stamped on at 3 o'clock if the pin is at 12 o'clock. Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, fragment of a cast copper alloy florid cruciform brooch. The surviving section of the brooch is part of the foot plate. There is a flat square panel with a sub-rectangular lappet on the left hand side and a moulded half rounded pannel below. The lapet is decorated with style 1 animal ornamentation. The reverse of the fragment contains a wide and incomplete catchplate. The breaks are worn. The brooch has a dark green-black patina.
