A fragment of copper-alloy object, possibly part of a crudely manufactured Roman bow brooch dating to the first to third century AD. The object is hemispherical in section and tapers slightly towards one end, which is broken. The upper surface of the object is notched horizontally, but the notches do not appear to form a coherent pattern. The object measures 19mm in length and 8mm at its widest. A copper-alloy Trumpet brooch dating to the second century AD. The head comprises an oval plate which is undecorated. There is a small lug at the apex of the head. A copper-alloy Continental Knee brooch (Mackreth's KNEE Cont 1.b.), dating to the late second or early third century AD. A fragment of a copper-alloy penannular brooch (Fowler type A2), dating to the Roman period. Only half of the plain, circular-section ring remains. It extends to a single, spherical knurled terminal. The fragment has a length of 31mm; the ring, a thickness of 2mm and the terminal measures 4mm by 5mm. The brooch weighs 1.9g. Mackreth 2011 notes that this type tends to date to the second or third century AD.

A fragment of a copper-alloy repoussé plate brooch dating to the late second or early third century AD. The brooch is circular in shape with an applied stamped sheet. The stamped sheet is decorated with a beaded rim enclosing a triskele motif. On the underside of the brooch, the semi-circular lug to hold the pin is intact. The pin is missing. The brooch has a diameter of 28mm and the ring, a thickness of 3mm. Each terminal measures 5mm by 3mm. Fowler Type A2 pennanulars possess terminals 'consisting of milled knobs'. Mackreth 2011, 212 notes that they appear to date to the second and third century AD.
