An incomplete gold dog brooch of uncertain date, possibly early Post-Medieval. This three dimensional brooch seems to have been hollow or at least the body was hollow. The dog is positioned left with the head turned forwards. One ear is missing however the ear nearest the tail survives in good condition. All four legs are missing and there is a break across the chest area that is now filled with mud. The curled tail survives. An incomplete gold disc, possibly a disc brooch or mount. This fragment weighs 3.33g but includes the weight of some adhering mud. No full diameter survives, however the radius measures 17.4mm which would suggest a diameter of 34.8mm if this was indeed a circular artefact. The edge is serrated, each projection having a width of c.1.6mm, some segments seem to be missing and others reduced in length or bent over suggesting partial damage to the edge. Roman gold and silver oval brooch, 21mm long, 19mm wide and weighing 6.37grams. The brooch consists of an oval plate which is coated in silver on the reverse. The upper surface is decorated with three concentric ovals of gold ropework. The outer one is wider and higher than the inner two. These have incised lines running at oblique angles in differing directions, which gives the effect of a herringbone pattern. Post medieval brooch; cast gold brooch of possible 16th century date. The brooch is a miniature ring of twisted gold wire sandwiched between two further rings of plain gold wire. There is further twisted wire forming a cross through the centre of the brooch, adorned with a gold pellet at the end of each arm and with a tiny ring of twisted wire in the centre. The brooch is broadly circular at the back plate with a triangular setting at the front face. The brooch has been divided in to six segments on the back plate which is formed from gold. It has an asymmetrical ovoid shape, having one wider rounded end and tapering to a point at the other end, that curves over to one side. A miniature medieval brooch, roughly oval in shape, and terminating in two joined hands. The brooch has two facets which carry an enigmatic inscription, punctuated by flowers and colons. Reading clockwise from the pin, the letters are On the inner band N V I V N: I I M I N I On the outer band: V I I I T I: I: I - I I V L V I (?)I The meaning of this is unclear, but may have magical or amuletic significance. The two hands may once have held a pearl, which is customary for brooches of this type. The brooch is gold, and dates from the thirteenth century.

The enamel survives in two of the foils and is coloured blue and white. The third area has lost its enamel, which may have been of a different colour less well preserved in the ground. The brooch is circular in form and rectangular in section with a slight concavity. It has been bent out of shape at some point and has small creases on part of its surface. The object has a small recess which holds a semi-circular pin bar. The upper surface of the brooch is inscribed AVE: MARIA GRATIA in Lombardic scrpit and has a narrow incised border on its inner edge.
