Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Mackreth 2011, 4.a. type (The West of England Group). The catchplate and the spring are missing. There is a pair of roll mouldings on each side wing. The spine has a groove along its length with notching. There may also be traces of notching along the sides of the bow.

A largely complete hinge-headed enamelled Roman bow brooch of plate on bow form. The lozenge-shaped expansion on the bow has a field for missing enamel inlay and a central circular boss with an orange enamel centre. The foot is decorated with three rows of punched crescents and a pair of rings with central dots.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug spring attachment. Upper half only, with the spring intact, but the pin is missing. There is no surviving decoration on the wings. The bow has a rounded front. The brooch is 23mm long, 26mm wide and it weighs 9.1g.
