A cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill CD PH 6.a6. The Eastern Group dating to c. AD 50-100. The wings are cylindrical, open on the underside and have angled end-caps which are drilled to take the spindle on which the spring and pin is mounted. The front of the brooch has a small projecting ridge and hook for the spring chord. The bow has a flat lenticular cross section and a two square recessed cells for enamel on the spine. The lower part of the bow tapers to the lobed foot and is decorated with a simple central groove.

A Roman copper-alloy bow brooch with a semi-cylindrical head and a circular plate with a triangular fantail. The spring and pin are missing. The circular plate has two concentric cells for red and blue inlay and the fantail has a symmetrical curvilinear motif, with three cells. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Hod Hill type, 21.9mm in length, with a tinned surface. The bow has a lozengiform plate decorated with three parallel longitudinal moulded ridges down the central axis, the outer pair forming simple borders to the plate. This is flanked by a pair of slightly convex lateral moulded collared knops of which only one remains. There is a transverse moulded collar at the junction between the main plate and the lower part of the bow, which tapers to the foot and which has a catchplate on the underside. Circa mid 1st century AD.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Langton Down type dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. 25-60 AD, 19.8mm in length. Missing pin, much of the bow, the foot and catchplate. The bow meets the hinge in a semi-circular sectioned head and tapers to the foot. The arms are cylindrical and partially enclose the spring which has an iron spindle. Extensive corrosion has obscured any original surface decoration.

A copper alloy Roman Developed T-shaped brooch dating to the period AD 50-150. The head has a pair of tubular wings, the tip of each being decorated with transverse incised ridges. A Roman cast copper alloy and enamel disc brooch dating to the second century AD. The brooch is 21.2mm in diameter and decorated with a sexfoil design with a central pellet surrounded by six pellets conjoined by arcuate lines. The centre of the design, around the central pellet is decorated with red enamel. The outer field of the design has blue enamel around the central design. The reverse is flat with an in-line hinge loop and stump of a catchplate. The pin is missing.

An incomplete Roman cast copper alloy trumpet brooch dating to AD 75-220 (Cf Mackreth (2011) TR 1.2 Plate 81). The head is decorated with moulded flanking scrolls in high relief. The underside of the head has a projecting ridge which is pierced for the spring, a portion of which remains in place. The bow is arched with a worn and crudely moulded acanthus button flanked by small collars at the midpoint. The lower portion of the bow has moulded scrolls on either side. The foot and catchplate are missing.
