A largely complete hinge-headed enamelled Roman bow brooch of plate on bow form. The lozenge-shaped expansion on the bow has a field for missing enamel inlay and a central circular boss with an orange enamel centre. The foot is decorated with three rows of punched crescents and a pair of rings with central dots.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug spring attachment. Upper half only, with the spring intact, but the pin is missing. There is no surviving decoration on the wings. The bow has a rounded front. The brooch is 23mm long, 26mm wide and it weighs 9.1g.

The lower part of a Roman copper-alloy brooch of Hod Hill type, cAD43-75. The upper bow is expanded and has side projections and it has a pierced circular recess for a separate mount, now missing. Sally Worrell comments: This is a Hod Hill brooch of Mackreth Type 9. All have a disc in the middle with cross mouldings above and below. The hole in the disc should once have held a separately-made cup. A descendant of the Rosette brooch married to the basic form of the Hod Hill. A Roman copper-alloy Colchester derivative, double-lugged, Harlow brooch, There are two pierced lugs for a spring which is lost along with the pin. It is 34.6mm in length, complete with part of its catchplate. The bow is undecorated, the arms at 15.5mm wide are short; however this is probably due to post depositional damage as the brooch demonstrates considerable abrasion. Circa 43-100 AD.

A Roman copper alloy Initial T-shaped brooch, missing its foot and catchplate. The cylindrical wings are 28.1mm across and have incised lines around each end. A fragment of a hinged pin is retained and there is a stump of a circular loop remaining at the front of the head. The bow is plano-convex in cross section; the dorsal surface moulded into a panel of double edged sawtooth decoration. Below this is a moulded boss bounded by waisted / reel collars. An incomplete copper alloy Roman Developed T-shaped brooch dating to the period AD 50-150. The head has a pair of tubular wings divided by a central pin slot retaining the rusted remnants of an iron axis bar. There may be a stump of a (now lost) projecting loop on the head. The bow meets the head at a 90 degree angle and has decoration in the form of a panel of three diamond shaped cells flanked by triangular incuse cells which would have probably held enamel; below this panel is a raised sub-rounded boss. The underside of the bow is concave. The foot, catchplate and pin are missing.

The bow has a lozengiform plate decorated with five parallel longitudinal moulded ridges down the central axis, the inner three of which have transverse incised decoration and the outer two of which do not, forming simple borders to the plate. A cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch of flat and lugged type, with six peripheral rounded lugs which were inlaid with red enamel. There is a prominent central boss which is 5.5mm in diameter and cast in the form of a waisted reel with a flat top and a small pointed tip in the centre. The main part of the disc was enamelled, possibly with a pattern of inlaid circular dots on a coloured field. Around this area are three concentric moulded beaded borders.
