Incomplete, copper-alloy Roman Dolphin-type brooch. Only the wings and upper bow survive. The pin and spring are missing but corrosion suggests that the axis bar was made of iron. On each wing is a pair of diagonal incised lines. The surface of the bow is worn away.

Possibly the central part of an umbonate disc brooch, apparently with a high tin content. Below the present rim the broken edge projects downwards and not outwards, suggesting the original width of the object is present. There is no trace of either hinge or catchplate, which suggests that the object is not a brooch and may be of much later date

A Hod Hill-type brooch, the spring and pin are both missing together with the two side lugs. The bow is decorated with a complicated series of transverse parallel ribs and flutings. On the bow is a rectangular expansion with similar ribs, and flutings which alternate between thick and thin, arranged at 90 degrees to those on the bow. The raised ribs on the expansion have faint transverse notched ornamentation. On the wide flutings on both bow and expansion are well-preserved white metal surfaces.

A Roman copper-alloy lozenge-shaped plate brooch. The brooch has four projecting terminals, although one side projection is now missing. It is 36mm long and 25mm wide. The projection at the top is pierced for attachment (?to a chain). The lowest is tri-lobate and has three stamped ring-and-dot motifs. The one surviving side projection has a single ring-and-dot. The central raised setting contains the remains of an enamel inlay which appears white, and which itself sits on a raised platform. The upper part of a trumpet brooch, now very worn. The spring and pin, catchplate and foot are all missing. The bow has a large rounded knop, 11mm diam., below which are three closely-spaced collars, each 8mm diam. The upper part of the bow is decorated with a pair of fluted, expanding grooves. There is engraved decoration elsewhere but it is too worn to describe.

A Roman plate brooch of umbonate type. The pin and most of the catchplate on the concave reverse are missing. On the front one of the original four circumferential projections is missing. The decoration consists of two concentric circles of triangular recesses inlaid with blue enamel, which survives quite well. The central circular depression apparently had no inlay. The depth of the brooch is 6mm, the maximum depth is 10.5, and the original width was c25mm. The spring and pin are missing.
