Most of the outer edge of the brooch is missing.On the back is a hinge with traces of an iron pin. Of the catchplate only a stub remains. there are no traces of either enamel of surface coating.

A complete Roman bow brooch of T-shaped form with intact hinged pin. The bow has a D-section. The upper part of the bow has a raised spine with diagonal notches bordered by a single groove each side. The sides of the bow each have a pair of diagonal notches which run from the spine to the edge of the lower side. The lower part of the bow has a series of transverse grooves. The two side-wings each have a pair of transverse grooves on their tips.

A Roman circular plate brooch, complete but missing the iron spring and pin (a small part of which survive). The brooch features two concentric circles. The outer circle is infilled with blue enamel of which only a small area survives. The inner has a circle of closely-spaced pellets reserved against a background of enamel which now appears green. A worn fragment of a Roman plate brooch with traces of a white metal coating. The fragment contains the hinged end of the attachment. The brooch has a circular central field decorated with four (probably) circular apertures around a central circular aperture. There would have been four extensions to the circle which form the arms of a cross. That which contains the hinge is the larger of the three and has a short groove aligned on the centre of the brooch.

A Roman bow brooch of Aucissa type. The pin is missing. The slender strip bow has a rounded spine. the plate at the top has five transverse flat ribs each decorated with notches. There is an undecorated panel at the foot of the bow. The separate knob at the foot is missing. The catchplate is small and triangular.
