The upper part of a Roman crossbow brooch. The bow has an octagonal section and the side wings (one of which is missing) terminate in biconical knops. The larger knop on the top of the bow is also biconical. The pin is missing from the hollow cylindrical remaining side wing. The brooch has a white metal coating.
