Amlate Iron Age cast copper alloy strip form brooch fragment with a slightly rounded back and tapering rounded shoulders. The lower part of the extant bow is decorated with a single ring and dot stamp from which tthree diverging vertical zig zag lines ascend. The edges are decorated with zig zag bordering lines. The pin remains are of iron and may represent a repair.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman or later Iron Age bow brooch of La Tene III or Nauheim derivative type. A portion of the integrally cast spring is retained separately. The bow has a flat cross sectional profile and is lenticular in shape, expanding to a maximum width of 8.5mm at the lower end before tapering sharply towards the foot which has largely broken off. The bow is decorated with a double row of punched dots along both lateral margins.

The central part of a very worn circular gilded and enamelled brooch of 11th or 12th century date. The original projections on the circumference are worn to stumps but there appear to have been twelve originally. The enamel components are white, dark blue, dark green, and red and these sit within cells formed by bent wire strips.

A tongue-shaped terminal from an Early Medieval copper-alloy possible great square-headed brooch. The fragment suggests the brooch has been torn and broken. At the break is a pair of scrolled side projections. The brooch has a rivet and a separate sheet fitting on the back. On the front are four concentric U-shaped ridges which enclose a central oval ridge at the upper edge of which the rivet is visible. The ridges are randomly decorated with punched decoration.

An incomplete early early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon, c. 450-550), cast copper alloy brooch, either a small shallow saucer brooch or a Suzuki Class B or C button brooch. The front has chip carved style I decoration set within a raised border and everted rim, much of which is missing.
