A copper alloy Roman brooch of trumpet derivative type.
Only the upper part survives.
Behind the plain head plate is the bow which has a prominent notched ridge along its spine. On either side of the bow are three pairs of ridges arranged at regular intervals. The details of the lower part of the bow, above the break are unclear. The pin and spring appear to have been of iron.

The head of a Roman trumpet brooch together with the spring and the integral loop on the head. Behind the loop is a band of touching circular cells filled with enamel. The cells appear to alternate between red and blue. Behind this are two triangular cells also filled with enamel. There appears to be some dark grey mould material visible in the broken end.

Approximately one half of a double-ended plate brooch together with the catchplate. The fragment comprises a large triangular cell framed with notches and filled with blue enamel and possibly one other colour. The terminal knop is concave and may also have held enamel. The central part of the brooch had a rectangular opening.

A fragment, probably from a plate brooch, but of uncertain form. There is no sign of either catchplate or hinge on the back. The fragment comprises a bar with three longitudinal ridges each decorated with notching. On one side is a triangular element, recessed to take enamel; on the other are two circular projections, also recessed, which form the sides to a triangular aperture.

A largely complete hinge-headed enamelled Roman bow brooch of plate on bow form. The lozenge-shaped expansion on the bow has a field for missing enamel inlay and a central circular boss with an orange enamel centre. The foot is decorated with three rows of punched crescents and a pair of rings with central dots.

A worn fragment of a Roman plate brooch with traces of a white metal coating. The fragment contains the hinged end of the attachment. The brooch has a circular central field decorated with four (probably) circular apertures around a central circular aperture. There would have been four extensions to the circle which form the arms of a cross. That which contains the hinge is the larger of the three and has a short groove aligned on the centre of the brooch.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman Brooch of Langton Down type, Nertomarus sub-type, dating to the first century AD. The fragment comprises the head which has decoration in the form of a moulded collar at the bow, from which emerges an inverted triangle with three incised dots, flanked by scrolls, with trefoils of dots underneath.
