A complete Roman brooch of Hod Hill (or perhaps Aucissa) type, with rolled-back head. On each side of the bow are three rounded projections and there is a rounded knop at the base of the foot. The decoration on the bow comprises a central strip of interlocking triangles with a notched line on each side.

A large two-piece Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch of Colchester type. The brooch has an openwork catchplate with two triangular apertures. The side wings have simple roll mouldings and there are diagonal slashes along the spine. Most of the spring survives together with the chord and bar. Part of the spring appears to have been replaced in iron.

The upper part of a Roman bow brooch of probable Headstud type with a hinged pin on a cylindrical bar. The head is hollow with a small circular hole in the lower face and a large hollow for a separate stud. There are traces of a white metal coating on the spine. The upper edge of the catchplate is also present. The brooch is decorated on either side of the head with a triangular panel containing blue, red and yellow decoration. The blue element forms a trefoil around two yellow circles, all against a red field.

A cast copper alloy Roman plate brooch with projecting face, of probable 2nd century date. The central element is a slightly rounded square with a projection at each corner. Each projection contains a hollow for an enamel inlay; two inlays of blue enamel survive. Centrally within the brooch is an oval projection, hollowed behind, which has been engraved in the form of a human face, projecting towards the viewer. The face is set on a rounded projection. The upper part of a Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch of T-shaped type (similar to Hattatt no.387). The brooch has a hinged pin held within a tapering cylindrical housing. The side wings have a transverse notch at each end. There is an integral loop on the head of the brooch. The upper bow has a rectangular panel with lozenges and triangles; there is no sign of any enamel, though this may have been present. The back of the bow is hollow.
