A copper alloy Roman catchplate from a bow brooch, probably a Colchester derivative type, AD 43-100. It consists of the bottom part of the bow which is D-shaped but becoming triangular towards it base, and a triangular-shaped catchplate. There is a large perforation in the centre, and the outer edge is folded in. The fragment measures 25mm in surviving length and is 12.15mm at its widest point. It tapers to 5.63mm at its foot and weighs 4.03g. It resembles examples illustrated from Hacheston in Blagg et al 2004, fig.64, nos.91 and 105.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a sitting hen or cockerel. The plate is a pointed oval in shape with a hollow back and domed body. From the pointed end projects the tail, while the opposite end has the conical neck and head of the bird. A copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment. It consists of the coil, pin and axis bar only. The spring has three coils on one side, the other side being incomplete due to old breaks. The axis bar is flat and rectangular in section. The brooch fragment measures 39.36mm in surviving length, with the point of the pin bent upwards out of shape. It is 24.31mm in width across the axis bar/spring coil, and weighs 5.26g. A copper alloy Roman plate brooch fragment. It is an umbonate brooch, incomplete due to old breaks, and a little bent. In style it most resembles Hattatt nos 1064 and 1065, being domed at the centre. About half the brooch survives, with the remains of small lugs on the circumference, and the edges of the brooch being almost straight between the lugs, suggesting an octagonal outline. A copper alloy globular knop from the wing of a developed 'onion-knobbed' Roman crossbow brooch. It is circular in plan, onion shaped in profile with a small projecting knop at the top and two moulded circumferential ridges at the base. The underside of the knop is flattened and has a central circular perforation for attachment probably to the wing of the brooch. It is a hinged type, with the wings folded round to form cylindrical cases around the axis bar, and the pin is in situ, hinged in the centre. The wings are plain, and the bow is D-shaped, with a central rib on the shoulder. The brooch measures 27.99mm in width across the wings, 28.27mm in surviving length, and weighs 9.17g. It resembles an example from Hatcheston (Blagg 2004, p.64, no.116) but without the moulded decoration on the wings.

A copper alloy Roman trumpet-headed booch. It is worn, and bent out of shape. The body of the brooch is composed of two pelta shapes, with the arms joining to create two open circles. The bow continues to its foot where it finishes with a terminal knop, and small catchplate behind. The neck of the brooch is bent at right angles from the body, and the head is round, with only a fragment of the chain loop surviving at the top.
