A complete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Colchester Derivative double-lug type, dating c. 43-100 AD. The brooch survives completely intact, though the pin has bent backwards at an angle and now does not sit within the catchplate. It demonstrates a semi-circular sectioned winged head, the axis bar and six-coiled spring threaded through a double lug that projects from its midpoint on the reverse face of the object. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman plate brooch, dating to AD 200-350. It is a flat disc with a central circular recess on the front and two concentric recessed circles around it. The edge of the disc is scalloped with the curves facing the outer circles, whose field is filled with blue enamel. The inner circle has a median line of reserved dots while its field retains red enamel filling. A copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch, dating to AD 1250-1400. The frame is semi-circular in cross-section with a narrowed bar for the copper-alloy pin. The front face has a transverse notch for the pin. The pin is closed and its shaft has a circular cross-section, which tapers towards a pointed tip. Where the shaft meets the loop there is a transverse collar. The surfaces have traces of gilding, now very worn. The front face has a sort of ring-and-dot pattern slightly visible but it is hard to say if the surfaces had a plain gilding or engraved inscription. Diameter: 15.82 mm

An incomplete copper-alloy Iron Age to Roman brooch of the Colchester Type, dating to AD 25-60. The head has two rectangular flat wings and a fragment of the forward facing hook, which protrudes from its top edge. The integrally cast spring survives only in three coils still in place. The bow is oval in cross-section and tapers towards the foot. The back face of the foot has traces of the catch plate; the foot is bent backwards in two points. A complete cast copper-alloy Iron Age brooch of the La Tene I, dating to c. 450-300 BC. It consists of a pointed oval bow, which extends upwards with a fragments of the integral spring; the lower end of the bow breaks before the foot. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) disc brooch, dating to AD 450-550. The front face has a border of punched ring-and-dot motifs and at the centre there are five more of the same motif. The back face bears the remainders of the pin lug and the catch-plate. The front face bears traces of silvering. The disc has two circular holes drilled on the side of the two attachment elements; they can suggest a re-use of the brooch by means of suspension or sewing.
