Flat with 10 peripheral lugs. A Y-shaped area filled with blue enamel defines three eye-shaped areas, now empty, each with a central bronze stud. A further stud in the centre of the brooch, pin missing.

2 piece dolphin brooch with foot, catchplate & pin. Plain semi-cylindrical side wings (cross-bar). Bulge beneath junction of head & cross-bar. Internal chord. D-section bow has raised central decoration of horizontal lines (transverse). Foot knop has 3 moulded transverse steps. Catchplate approx. half length of brooch, with small end 'curl'.

Trumpet type of fairly simplified form of Chester variant, pronounced profile, with low bow rib decorated with transverse lines under which are 3 moulded transverse ribs the centre one larger and decorated with a further 'fin' with incised diagonal lines. On the top of the leg are 3 chevrons, the leg then tapers to a small claw foot 3.07mm wide. The head has a flat plate similar to Hattat's 438a, but with no evidence of chain loop, or 444 but minus the hole. Width is taken from head plate, thickness from front to back of catchplate

Trumpet brooch, oval head, bow circular in section, very strong curve at top of bow, straightening at point where large boss is approx. halfway down length. Decorating the boss are 2 sets of acanthus leaves with single engraved transverse line above & below. Catchplate solid but tip of triangle broken. Tapering slightly to foot which is a single circular knop.

Plate brooch - no parallel traced but most of the elements making it up can be found in other examples. Elongated lozenge shaped central panel in 3 steps similar to Hattat IARB no. 569, the middle of was enamelled but is degraded and of indeterminate colour. Each step has incised diagonal lines forming a crude 'rope' border. The flat plate edges are scalloped in outline and punched with concentric circles as in Hattat 568. Part of the hinged pin and catchplate intact. Rear has circular recess which appears to have been moulded with the body of the brooch.

Plate brooch, unmatched but elements of similar style in Hattat IARB 256. Central panel in 2 steep steps, the second step is enamelled with central annulet bounded by copper-alloy circle, the centre of the enamel has a depression suggesting a possible bead/glass insert, now missing. Both steps have fine incised diagonal 'rope' borders. The flat outer plate is decorated by alternate ring and dot motifs and punched perforations. The reverse has a lathe turned recess with central depression.

A Roman Headstud brooch dating to 75-200 AD. It is hinged with copper-alloy pin and has a solid chain loop, bow decoration of small inset lozenges with enamel fill of indeterminate colour and red and blue/green enamel in the triangles either side. Headstud of integrally cast raised ring and dot type, small fluted wings, moulded foot knop with 'waist' and circular terminal.

Fantailed trumpet derivative, similar in many respects to Hattat IARB 449, but with larger circular central boss and side lugs.
