Incomplete, head missing but traces indicate that it was probably a flat plate which extended downward below the top of the bow. Traces of corroded iron suggest iron spring mechanism (missing). The curving bow is ridged on the front and decorated with a pair of median parallel grooves along its length, the back is convex. The junction between the bow and the leg is stepped and had a small boss. The leg is inward curving and ridged at the front; it is also incomplete. A fragment of the catchplate remains which reached almost the length of the leg.
