A copper-alloy possible buckle or brooch frame, of medieval date. Oval in shape measuring 16.74mm by 15.27mm externally and 11.41mm by 11.23mm internally. One face has three constrictions, one of which has corroded iron adhering to it. An iron pin may therefore have been attached to this constriction allowing the frame to be used as a brooch or even a buckle.

The frame has an oval section and a constriction around which the open loop of a copper-alloy pin is attached, the pin tapers to a point. Traces of gilding can be seen on the frame.

A copper alloy medieval annular brooch with a finger-ring style setting. It is a plain annular frame with a diameter of 21.82mm, and protrudes at one point to form a bezel as for a finger-ring, which has an empty oval-shaped setting. This is set at ninety degrees to the pin, which is attached to a constriction on the frame and has a patch of corrosion at its centre. The brooch frame shows sign of wear on its underside. The pin measures 23.29mm in length, and the brooch weighs 2.72g. A similar example is illustrated in Hattatt, no.1339A, and dates to the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries.

A medieval annular brooch fragment. It is a segment of a brooch which is incomplete due to old breaks, and is broken off at one terminal across the pin constriction. The fragment measures 27.57mm in diameter and is 2.8mm in width, weighing 1.85g. The underside is flat, and the upper surface has four evenly spaced raised settings, now empty but which would have held glass or paste. There is a slight decorative ridge on the brooch between each setting. Annular brooches of this type are likely to date to the fourteenth century.

The frame is D-shaped in plan with a flattened back and narrowed, offset bar, with small grooves and projecting knops at the point where the frame and bar meet. Half of the frame to one side of the constriction is twisted to create a cabled pattern, whilst the other half remains undecorated. Medieval cast copper alloy incomplete annular brooch pin. The pin is rectangular in plan with a sub-circular cross section. There is a small moulded rectangular collar where the pin joins the attachment loop. There is a break across the end of the pin which is slightly worn. It is 43.79mm long, 12mm wide across the loop and 4.36mm wide across the pin. It weighs 4.35 grams. It has a mid-green patina and has a slightly pitted surface.

The frame is undecorated and measures 11.54mm in external diameter, 1.59mm in thickness, and 0.39g in weight. Possibly a damaged and straightened medieval cast copper alloy annular brooch. Formed of a bar with a circular cross section, with four retangular bosses spaces regularly along ite length; there is a worn break at both ends, immediately after a boss. The frame is bent two thirds of the way along its length. The bar is undecorated except for four small depressed circles arranges in a lozenge on each surface of the four bosses. The bar has a diameter of 5.61mm. The bosses are aproximately 10mm long and 6.5mm wide. It weighs 33.38 grams.

There are opposing oblique lines on the surface, creating a zigzag design. The fragment is 32.04mm long. It is 4.97mm wide, 2.83mm thick and weighs 2.46 grams.
