A small annular brooch of probable 13th to 15th C. AD date* (see notes). The brooch appears to be made of iron, although this may be the result of staining from the pin. It measures 14.4mm in external diameter and is circular in section (diameter 1.9mm). The pin is made of an iron wire, measuring 15.3mm long by 1.1mm diameter. It has been attached by winding it once around the frame. The object weighs 0.99g and is badly corroded.
