A Post-Medieval, silver annular brooch or buckle with detached brooch pin, now in three pieces. The main body of the brooch forms an irregular circle in plan and is subrectangular in section, with a slightly concave underside. The underside of the main body carries the makers mark OG, close to the narrowed point on the rim where the pin would have attached. The silver has crystallised and become brittle, as displayed in the three fragments of the brooch pin, which is missing its terminal and whose attachment loop is broken in two pieces.
