A copper alloy Roman fibular brooch which is 35.4mm long, 21.1mm wide and 15.3mm thick. The brooch has a simple tapering bow which appears not to be decorated though it is chipped in places. The wings are short and seem to be little more than projecting rounded knops. There is a thick headloop, the majority of which is missing, and a band of square beading across its base. Behind the wings is the tubular housing for the pin which appears to have been hinged, though is now badly corroded. Traces of the catchplate survive, but not the pin. A copper alloy incomplete Roman bow and fantail brooch. The object is 31.2mm long, 16.3mm wide and 4.1mm thick. Only the lower half of the bow survives consisting of a central roundel above which is an ancient break, and the flaring fantail. The catchplate partially survives. The roundel has a raised outer ring and a concave centre, in the middle of which is a raised pimple. The brooch has a deep green patina. Similar brooches can be seen in Richard Hattatt's "Visual catalogue of Ancient Brooches" (2000) and are dated to the first or second century.

It was probably a trumpet brooch, but it is damaged, possibly by fire causing melting, and the type of brooch is no longer clear. The head also has grooves on it, which run over the head and all the way down the bow to the grooves of the foot. A large fragment of a copper-alloy brooch, probably an Aucissa variant or Hod Hill brooch of c. 1st century AD date. The fragment consists of a section of the bow, tapering to a point at the foot, where a small part of the catch plate remains. The bow is decorated with a panel of vertical raised lines, of which two remain, above a transverse groove. The head and pin are missing. The fragment measures 41.2mm by 12.1mm by 4mm. A fragmentary Roman T shaped brooch dating from about 43 - 200 AD. The brooch has a narrow head where the sprung pin (now missing) would have been attached, but only a few turns of the spring survive. On the head are the stubs of a head loop which is now missing. Only the upper half of the bow survives. This has moulded leaf like decoration. The brooch has a light and medium green patina. The reverse is smooth and undecorated. An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shaped brooch from the Roman period, dating to the 1st and 2nd Centuries (c. 43-200 AD). The brooch has tubular wings which hold the copper alloy pin axis bar, and there is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear for the hinged pin, which is missing. The bow has a central spine, decorated with tapering lines running vertically on each side, towards the foot which is pointed. The reverse is smooth and undecorated. A copper alloy Roman Brooch; a dolphin type dating from AD55 - AD100 (S. Worrall, 2007, pers. comm.). The brooch has a simple tapering bow decorated with a raised central spine. This may have carried further decoration but is corroded. The foot just tapers to a blunt point. Part of the catchplate survives. The wings are tubular with a circumferential groove at the far ends. The tube contains an axis bar and is slotted in the centre for the hinged pin. Only the head of this survives. The brooch is 35.5mm long, 24.6mm wide and 14.3mm thick. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman bow brooch probably dating from dating from the first or second century. Only the head of the brooch survives. It is 14.2mm long, 18.6mm wide and 9.5mm thick. It has short tubular wings which are decorated with two circumferential raised bands on each wing. A small circular headloop projects upwards. The bow is circular in section and the break is patinated. There is a slot in the tubular wings for the hinged pin which is missing. The exact type of brooch is not certain. It has a patchy green patina.

A silver onion-shaped finial from the end of one arm of a Roman crossbow type brooch. There is a double disc moulding at the proximal end and a central perforation for assembly. late 3rd or 4th century AD.
