Probable Anglo-Saxon iron annular brooch. The brooch is flat, 14mm wide and has a very corroded surface. Parts of the perimeter are damaged.
Similar annular brooches are frequent finds on Anglo-Saxon cemetery sites and are well known from published local sites such as Fonaby, Cleatham, Lovenden Hill and Castledyke.

Large iron annular ring, probably a brooch. The ring frame is wide, flat and slightly convex. The frame is very corroded and no decoration can be seen.
