An incomplete Roman enamelled, copper alloy, umbonate brooch. The brooch dates to c. AD100-AD 250. The brooch is circular, domed, and has a flat, incomplete, perimeter ledge. The domed surface is decorated with twelve triangular cells, alternating with red and blue enamel. The short side of each cell is crescent shaped, curving into the interior of the cell. In the centre of the dome is a small knop. A circular flat cell projects from one side.
