An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch, probably a knee type. The semi-circular head plate has a notched edge and moulded knops. The head plate is elaborately decorated with a broad semi-circular border at the top and a worn design of the bottom, which includes the remains of red enamel and gilding. Behind the head is a spring mechanism, which has six turns and a chord underneath. The central pin is incomplete. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman rosette type brooch. The open cylindrical head would have housed a sprung pin, though none of the mechanism now survives. The wide curved bow terminates with the remains of a central circular plate, which is broken all around the edge. The brooch is extremely worn and both the foot and catchplate are missing. The surviving length is 25.6mm, the width is 18.2mm and the weight is 9.67g.

A complete cast copper alloy Roman Dolphin Brooch. The decorated cylindrical tubular wings are perforated to take a concealed axis bar and the slot in the centre holds a complete cast copper alloy pin. The wings are decorated with two double knurled mouldings between grooves and the humped bow is decorated with a central vertical rib with the same knurled mouldings, which continues to the pointed foot. The complete catchplate has a length of 13.4mm and the maximum width of 8.2mm. The length of the brooch is 37.4mm, the width is 28.0mm and the weight is 9.69g.

The faceted arms are slightly bent and have a bracket with small knobs at each end and an incomplete central peroration where the bow would have been attached. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Trumpet Derivative Brooch, possibly an ‘Alchester’ Type. Behind the plain oval trumpet head are two lugs with a broken copper alloy spring between. Two marks on the top of the head suggest it once had an integral solid chain loop, though none of this survives. The bow has a forward flange at the junction between the head and the incomplete flat rectangular leg. On the back of the leg is an incomplete catchplate for the missing pin. The surviving length is 29.1mm, the width is 11.6mm and the weight is 4.26g.

The crescent-shaped body is divided into two enamel fields, the lower is green and the upper one is missing. Projecting above the body is a long straight neck with an incomplete head.
