An incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon small long brooch cross potent type. The brooch is truncated at the top of the bow and the footplate is missing. The sub-rectangular head plate has no signs of punch marks and there is some faceting between the head and bow. Behind the head plate are two lugs with traces of an iron pin mechanism. The surviving length is 32.2mm, the width is 27.4mm and the weight is 9.94g.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon small-long brooch. The head-plate is a cruciform around a central square, with T-shaped arms defined by circular holes between the arms. Along the edges of each of the arm is a worn raised notched border. The upper arm terminates with an incomplete ring. There may also have been rings on the side arms, but they are truncated. A worn and incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon Cruciform brooch. The trapezoidal head plate has an incomplete wing on the left and the right one is missing. At the top of the head plate is an integral knob, which is flattened in section and domed in outline. The arched bow is carninated at the front and concave behind and the corners are faceted. The brooch is truncated at the base of the bow and the foot is missing. Behind the head plate is an incomplete single hinge. The surviving length is 45.9mm, the surviving width is 16.9mm and the weight is 10.24g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon cruciform brooch. Only the lower half of the brooch survives, both the bow and head plate are missing. The tapering rectangular foot plate has a set of two transverse lines at the top and two sets of three transverse lines midway down. The panel terminates with a zoomorphic animal head with protruding eyes and a rounded snout with scrolled nostrils. Copper alloy Cruciform Brooch fragment. Possible side or top knob from a cruciform brooch (finder suggests). This object is cast in the round as a very slightly waisted piece, with a scar indicating its attachment to the body of the brooch by a copper alloy pin. The majority of brooch knobs, as illustrated by Reichstein (1975), are more prominently waisted than this example. Copper alloy Brooch fragment. Cast foot from a small cruciform brooch. A foot derived from a pelta form, but with more rounded edges, joins the flat end of bow at a moulded step. Closely-spaced punched dots follow the edges of the fragment, which has been detached from the rest of the brooch below the position of the catch-plate. A fine and even patina extends over all surfaces except this fracture, suggesting relatively recent breakage. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 500-600.
