Incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch 'T' shaped in plan with a lozenge shaped bow narrowing to a blunt point. In profile the bow is arched and a pronounced 'comma' shape. It is 'D' shaped in section being very roughly flattened on the back. Two short wings project from either side of the bow head, round in section and narrowing towards their ends. On the reverse, a narrow raised bar runs across the brooch and out along each wing. This appear to have been cast integrally with the main body of the brooch. First to mid second century Roman copper alloy "dolphin" brooch. Long thin arched and tapering bow, forming a rounded square in section. There is a long, triangular, recessed panel running along the back of the bow, possibly originally retaining enamel. At its tail the bow thickens to form a "droplet" shape. The stub of the catch plate survives. The wings are short and semi circular in section (hollow at the back) and terminate in a flattened knop.

1st century Roman cast copper alloy wheel plate brooch. It has a raised inner and outer rim between which is a recessed surface which is slightly convex in section forming a slight rounded central ridge. Four opposed spokes which are triangular in section attach the rim to a central hub which is circular and cylindrical. Copper alloy variant trumpet type brooch. It has a flat head-plate with integral sub-circular loop and slightly off-centre head stud. The bow has a ribbed foot-knop and pronounced knee. Fragmentary catchplate from a copper alloy bow brooch found with a metal detector in the field to the north of Tan Llan, in January 2008.The catchplate is sub-triangular in shape with a curved edge to create housing for the pin.The surface is pitted and there is an apparent longitudinal line visible in the reverse – probably a result of the casting. Incomplete copper-alloy Roman 'Holden Hill' type brooch. The object is badly damaged and decayed, it is missing both wings, the catchplate and foot, the spring and pin. Cast copper alloy Roman 'knee' type brooch. The object has a flat oval plate as its head with an integral perforated loop at its top end forming a 'chain loop'. The hole is 3.85mm in diameter. 13mm below this loop perforation, there is a further hole 3.88mm diameter through the head plate itself.
