Copper alloy plate brooch, cast in the shape of an elongated bow. The brooch is complete with a copper alloy hinged pin and catchplate on the reverse. The surface of the brooch is highly corroded with traces of silvering or tinning on the front. The front of the brooch also has red-orange enamel, however there are no raised fields in which the enamel would have been contained. The design on the front of the brooch is unclear due to the level of corrosion. The reverse of the brooch is almost completely black in colour, with a small amount of copper showing through. Silver and copper alloy brooch. Cast silver square section ring (1.75-2.1mm square) with fastening gear behind comprising a hinge for the pin (lost) and a wire loop opposite, with a pressed copper alloy concavo-convex badge fitted tightly into the ring. The ring has butted ends and may have been crimped about the badge, which was presumably also soldered in place. An outer register comprises seven semicircular settings defined by loops of twisted wire; these surround circular settings of which one retains a green glass stone and another three retain metal hemispheres. A probable modern copper alloy bow tie shaped brooch with splayed of V-shaped ends which bear traces of being enamelled or painted. It has a central rounded knop - or representation of the 'tie' in a bow tie. There are raised geometric patterns radiating from the centre on each side being cells for enamels, traces of which remain however the colours have degraded but may have been red and yellow. The reverse has an integral broken catchplate and pin lug but no pin. The design bares a strong resemblance to an Art Deco design.

Cast sub-rectangular frame bearing finely defined floral relief decoration over its display face, and with tubular housings at either side of the back retaining ferrous corrosion suggesting the former presence of a steel pin. A copper alloy cloisonné enamelled butterfly brooch or pin head of modern date (1900-1950). The brooch is formed on a sheet of copper alloy with raised cells formed from wire and infilled with polychromatic enamels forming a technicolor polychromic effect. The exposed metal is a mid-brown colour due to corrosion whilst the reverse seems to have been treated by some form of lacquer - a small split pin holds the body to the decorated wings. A gold pennanular brooch. The panannular frame is 26mm in diameter and 3mm wide. It is decorated with floriate design which appears to have been etched into a wider sheet and then shaped into its current form. The terminals are domed and adorned with filigree (alternate triangles and circles) and topped with a square cut green glass stone which sits atop the dome. the base and green glass have filigree borders. White metal brooch. Oval-ended commemorative brooch. The back is hollow with a prominent rim, and there are three knops on its upper side. The occasion marked was the Bar Mizvah of the recipient. Copper alloy modern brooch in the shape of a sailing ship made in 1905 to commemorate the death of Nelson. The brooch was made of copper from HMS Victory and given to the British and Foreign Sailors Society by the Lords of the Admiralty. It is 30.4mm long, 24.2mm wide, 2.7mm thick and weighs 6.7 grams. A cast and pressed silver 'coin' brooch date 1836 based on a half-crown design. The brooch comprises a solid silver frame with eight rectangular raised panels on the front face and small circular knops on the edge. Within the frame is a machine pressed silver disc depicting the draped royal arms surmounted by a crown with ANNO 1836 beneath. A complete sterling silver brooch hallmark Birmingham 1942-3. The brooch bears the insignia of the 8th Kings Royal Irish Hussars but additionally has a clasp in the form of a riding crop. This addition and being sterling silver would suggest that this is a sweetheart brooch worn in memory of a soldier of the regiment fighting in World War II.
