A medieval copper alloy annular brooch with four turret shaped settings empty for probably glass 'gems'. On opposing sides of the frame are two small rectangular plates riveted on with pronounced, central knops. These are decorated with two rows of a punched design. The pin is missing but there is a hole through the frame where it was looped. Margeson [Norwich Households, p16] dates broches of this type to around 1275 to 1400.

An annular 'ring' brooch with punched circle decoration around the circumference of the obverse. There is a small narrowed recess which would have been used for the swivel pin, although the pin is missing. This ring brooch is 19.58mm diameter, 1.94mm thick and weighs 1.94gms. It dates from the 13th to 15th centuries - for parallels see Bailey 1999:51/51

A silver gilt medieval ring brooch. The brooch has a rectangular profile either end of the twisted segment. Silver gilt flowers are attached at each juncture of the twisted and rectangular segments. The brooch is in two pieces but still is not complete - some gilding survives on the flower heads.

An incomplete circular copper alloy object, possibly part of a medieval ring brooch. The object is made of a thin sheet of metal with a rectangular cross-section; a small metal knop is folded over the main bar. The possible brooch is 24.77mm diameter, 0.84mm thick and weighs 0.5 gms. It probably dates from the medieval to post-medieval period.

A fragment comprising approximately half of a medieval silver annular brooch, now distorted. The frame of the brooch is a flat strip which narrows to a point where the missing pin was fitted. A cast copper alloy annular brooch with recess for the pin bar. The brooch has six collets, three of which contain a white paste. Thje brooch is worn and the pin is missing. The brooch is plain on the reverse. This style of brooch dates from the 13th to 14th century. A simialr example, although with 8 collets, can be seen in Read (2001) p103 no. 805.

A medieval brooch consisting of a square frame with four lobes, one at the centre of each side. The internal edge of the frame is chamfered and on one side has an aperture into which is inserted the pin. The pin is bent and has a collar of punched decoration. The pin appears at some point to have been separated from the frame of the brooch and has been reattached the wrong way round. The frame too is badly distorted and broken along one edge. A cast copper alloy medieval ring brooch, complete with copper alloy pin. The brooch has four raised oval settings that contained paste - one of the settings retains yellow paste. Between the settings the face of the brooch is decorated with thick incised vertical lines following the curviture of the brooch. The reverse of the brooch is plain. The pin is intact and is simply looped around a recess in the brooch. This is a very nice example of a 13th - 14th century brooch in undamaged condition. The brooch measures 18.30mm diameter and is 3.18mm maximum thickness. It weighs 2.5gms.
