Incomplete Iron Age cast copper alloy La Tene-derivative brooch (4th-3rd century BC). The brooch has a long pointed-oval bow with a looped foot. The foot has been distorted and the rounded knop at the end of the foot has been folded over on itself. At the opposite end of the brooch the sprung pin has broken off, leaving just one loop of the spring remaining. The front face of the brooch is undecorated and the reverse is plain. Incomplete Late Iron Age Brooch. The bow & pin were cast all-in-one but the pin is now missing. Three loops of the spring remain with the chord running behind. The bow of the brooch is a flat elongated triangle decorated with two rows of small punched squares running lengthways down each side of the bow. The bow narrows to a point at the foot and the triangular catchplate with rounded pin rest is still intact. Incomplete late Iron Age brooch, La Tene III type. The brooch is made from one piece of copper alloy, and has three of the four or five spring turns remaining. The chord is internal and the pin is missing. The bow is arched to a right angle shortly after it leaves the spring. The face of the bow is rectangular and decorated with three vertical grooves. The lower bow tapers to a pointed foot with a catchplate on the reverse.

An incomplete and slightly corroded copper-alloy La Tène I Iron Age brooch (3rd-4th century BC). The brooch is broken at its head with the pin and half of the spring mechanism lost (H.: 18.3mm). However, in the extant pair of coils to one side is the remnant of the axis bar. From the head (Th.: 2.7mm) the bow curves through ninety degrees, expanding as it does so. Late Iron age/early Roman copper alloy le Tene III brooch, 51mm long, 26mm wide and 5mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 7.82grams. The object is missing its spring and pin. It has a sub circular section and is curved. Its lower edge flattens out into an incomplete catchplate, which has a triangular form and part of a circular hole visible near its broken edge. The upper part of the brooch narrows and it has snapped just where it begins to curl back on itself to form the spring. The brooch matches example 12 in Fig.149 in Hattatt's ancient brooches.
