Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, lead. The fragment is part of the foot and catchplate. At the top the object is broken just below the bow. There is a flat rectangular plate with the remains of an incomplete catchplate on the reverse. There are two moulded transverse collars below, the uppper of which is thicker than the lower. Below the collars is an incomplete animals head. There are two large eyes represented by two moulded pellets. The forehead is D-shaped in cross-section and the snout is missing.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment, lead, probably the foot terminal from a florid brooch. The object is in the form of a human face and is roughly D-shaped in cross-section. The upper surface is decorated in relief with a prominant forehead and deep set moulded eyes in the form of two large moulded pellets. A lead alloy early Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch which is broken with two large fragments surviving and other parts missing. The brooch has a rectangular head with a raised central panel. Moulded terminals project upwards and to the sides. These consist of a central zoomorphic lobe with moulded eyes and a projecting snout with a projecting scroll on each side. A cast lead Late Saxon brooch. The brooch is circular and flat. It has been decorated on the front with a ladder-style border. Inside this are three crescents, each decorated with the ladder-style border. There is a raised crescent inside each one. There is a Y-shaped field between the crescents. There is a central, large pellet and a row of smaller pellets in each arm of the 'Y'. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The remains of the lug and catchplate can be seen and these have been arranged longitudinally. Both parts are badly squashed and damaged. No pin survives.

Cast lead nummular brooch of late Anglo-Saxon date, Weetch type 5. The brooch is now incomplete, but would have been circular; it is rectangular in section. A fragment of an Early Saxon lead cruciform brooch or model thereof, comprising part of the headplate with the top knob. The latter is now three-quarter round, but may once have been fully round before abrasion. The sides and base of the headplate are missing. The stub of a single pin lug, with part of a transverse perforation, projects from the reverse. The surviving piece measures 24 x 11mm x 8mm and it dates from the mid to late 5th century.

Late Anglo-Saxon brooch made from cast lead. The face bears a motif consisting of a triqueta, its three arms made up of two raised lines their ends terminating in pairs of opposed scrolls surrounding pellets. In the centre of the disc is a single pellet and, around its edge, is a ring of pellets. The brooch is crushed and no trace of remains of the pin and clip. On the back of the brooch is a series of scratches which could, with the eye of faith, be interpreted as the stern of a ship, with two steering oars a mast and a yard.

A fragment of a cast lead Early Medieval Anglo Saxon cruciform brooch. The fragment consists of part of the foot. Either side of which are lappets, originally in the form of eagle's heads. At the lower end of the fragment is a moulding representing the brow with ridges above the eyes on the foot. Behind the foot is the remains of the catchplate, which has been turned over, apparently for use. Lead brooch of 'hub-cap' type (Weetch type 17), of late Early-Medieval date, probably 10th or 11th century. It is circular, 26.7mm in diameter and 1.25mm thick, with a central circular hole (7.65mm in diameter) surrounded by a raised edge. It weighs 10.08g. There are four evenly spaced raised hollow-backed bosses or domes, 4.44mm in diameter, around the edges, each pushed up from the back of the brooch. There is a small sub-circular hole through the lead between two of the domes. There is a lead loop catchplate on the back of the brooch, and remains of an attachment point for a pin.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, lead. Incomplete lead object which may have formed part of lead cruciform brooch. The object is flat and in the form of a face with scroll-like hair or moustache, depending on which way round the face is viewed. The eyes are large pellets, beneath which is a triangular shaped snout or forehead. The edges of the object is very worn and so it is hard to determine where it is broken. Its back is plain and there are no obvious signs of attachment. The fragment looks similar to the animal-headed foots seen on Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooches.

Very fine lead alloy disc brooch. The brooch is flat, circular with a slightly raised rim, and decorated with an elaborate motif on the surface. The face has a moulded pellet in the centre, forming the central part of a quatrefoil flower head. The petals are defined by double lozenge shaped borders, each having a small pellet at the corner nearest the central pellets. Eeach petal contains a moulded solid lozenge. The angles remaining contain a hatched decoration. The rim is beaded. There are two small moulded lugs on the reverse of the object.

Lead-alloy/pewter 'nummular' brooch. It consists of a flat circular plate 1.5mm thick, with a beaded outer border which encloses a design imitating a coin. This consists of a concentric legend enclosed by a second inner beaded border, and a centrally located cross. The legend is highly simplified and nonsensical, with individual letters being replaced by strokes. Apparently a lead model for a brooch, which would have been circular and slightly domed. Some of the edges now appear to have been cut off straight, and the maximum surviving diameter is 21 mm. There is no decoration on the convex upper face. The reverse is flat, not hollowed, and has a surviving curled-over lug which looks like a catchplate. No pin lug survives. Perhaps a trial piece or a model which would have been used in the manufacturing process; similar to the small Anglo-Scandinavian domed disc brooches of the tenth century AD.
