Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment, lower bow and part of the flat panel from a early Anglo-Saxon brooch. There is a longitudinal decorative band running down the centre of the bow and below the bow transverse grooves delimit the start of the flat panel. Surviving length is 17.94mm and width is 17.38mm. All edges worn and damaged due to old breaks. Both faces are black probably due to exposure to fire, perhaps indicating that this brooch was originally from a cremation cemetary.

Anglo Saxon copper alloy small long brooch dating to the 6th century. It is a square headed type and appears mostly free from decoration. There are four circular perforations, one in each corner of the head. One of these holes has broken through to the edge. The catchplate and some of the lug remain but the pin is missing. A fragment of an early medieval brooch, either a cruciform or small long in type. A fragment of the lower head and upper bow, measuring 27.60mm in surviving length and 16.74mm in surviving width. The bow has transverse grooves at its top and there are two longitudinal parallel grooves down its centre. It is D-shaped in section. There is an incomplete pin loop on the back face with the remains of a corroded iron adhering to it, presumably from the iron pin.

From the photograph of the front of this object, it is likely to be an ansate brooch of middle to late Anglo-Saxon date (8th to 10th century). Each terminal is slightly flared to a zig-zag end with three V-shaped indentations. The arched bow is rectangular in cross-section. Silver pin, formed from a 1.7mm diameter wire which tapers to a broken point at one end. A copper alloy Late Saxon bird brooch. The brooch is in the shape of a bird of prey and is complete except for the pin. It is a full round knob,with a knop, and a hole running through the centre (blocked by corrosion) for the pin bar . Lead brooch of 'hub-cap' type (Weetch type 17), of late Early-Medieval date, probably 10th or 11th century. It is circular, 26.7mm in diameter and 1.25mm thick, with a central circular hole (7.65mm in diameter) surrounded by a raised edge. It weighs 10.08g. There are four evenly spaced raised hollow-backed bosses or domes, 4.44mm in diameter, around the edges, each pushed up from the back of the brooch. There is a small sub-circular hole through the lead between two of the domes. There is a lead loop catchplate on the back of the brooch, and remains of an attachment point for a pin.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, the central panel and wings survive as does the top knob and one side knob, the rest of the brooch is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The edges of the brooch are distorted and it appears to have been burnt and therefore may be evidence of a cremation cemetery. The head measures 36.38mm in width and 26.17mm in surviving length. The central panel is rectangular and raised and has longitudinal borders of small crescent shaped indentations. The top knob and side knob are integral and not detachable. They are half round.
