An incomplete early medieval continental type Anglo Saxon ansate brooch. The solid cast copper alloy D-shaped section brooch is decorated with three slight transverse mouldings, at the centre, left and right. On the back of the brooch are a pair of perforated lugs by which the pin was originally fixed and only part of the catch plate survives. The length is 38.2mm, the width is 11.9mm,the maximum thickness is 7.1mm and the weight is 11.16g.

Possible fragment of a cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon cruciform or square headed brooch. The fragment consists of a truncated rectangular or square panel defined by a raised strip, with a smaller panel inside. From the panel are integral two loops. The narrow width of the outer edge of each loop may suggest that these are zoomorphic bird's heads. The loops. An incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon small long brooch cross potent type. The brooch is truncated at the top of the bow and the footplate is missing. The sub-rectangular head plate has no signs of punch marks and there is some faceting between the head and bow. Behind the head plate are two lugs with traces of an iron pin mechanism. The surviving length is 32.2mm, the width is 27.4mm and the weight is 9.94g.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon small-long brooch. The head-plate is a cruciform around a central square, with T-shaped arms defined by circular holes between the arms. Along the edges of each of the arm is a worn raised notched border. The upper arm terminates with an incomplete ring. There may also have been rings on the side arms, but they are truncated. A worn and incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon Cruciform brooch. The trapezoidal head plate has an incomplete wing on the left and the right one is missing. At the top of the head plate is an integral knob, which is flattened in section and domed in outline. The arched bow is carninated at the front and concave behind and the corners are faceted. The brooch is truncated at the base of the bow and the foot is missing. Behind the head plate is an incomplete single hinge. The surviving length is 45.9mm, the surviving width is 16.9mm and the weight is 10.24g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon annular brooch. The circular band is D-shaped in section and is formed with a series of plain sections alternating with zones of ribbing. The band has a constriction for pin; however, it is covered with iron corrosion as only a fraction of the iron pin survives. The diameter is 40.2mm, the thickness is 3.8mm, the width of the band is 4.8mm and the weight is 12.88g. It dates to the late 6th or early 7th century AD. Compare NLM-53F386, LIN-935CE8, etc.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon cruciform brooch. Only the lower half of the brooch survives, both the bow and head plate are missing. The tapering rectangular foot plate has a set of two transverse lines at the top and two sets of three transverse lines midway down. The panel terminates with a zoomorphic animal head with protruding eyes and a rounded snout with scrolled nostrils. An almost complete cast lead Early Medieval brooch. The front is decorated with two concentric circles. The large inside circle has a cross made of wedges with a raised boss in the centre and in each arm of the cross is a raised triangle. In between each arm are four pellets in a triangle formation; three along the top and one at the bottom. In the outer circle is a border of raised lines. Copper alloy brooch. Disc brooch. Cast concavo-convex brooch with stub of a swivelling pin and pin rest on reverse. An indistinct decorative scheme comprises four elements of interlace, probably connected to each other. The crude casting, decorative elements and the dark brown colour of the object are all typical of mundane or lower status Anglo-Scandinavian metalwork from the region. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 850-1050. Diameter: 24.9mm, Thickness (clear of pin): 2.6mm, Weight: 5.43gms.
