A very detailed and well preserved Anglo-Saxon disc brooch with Style II animal ornamentation. The brooch is circular, flat and has a narrow rim on the front enclosing the decoration. The decoration is in Style II and comprises four animals. The body of each animal is in the form of a three-stranded ribbon interlaced around each other (though not always joining together), each terminating with a biting animal head. A copper alloy brooch or mount dating from the ninth century. The object is a rectangular plaque with two lugs on the reverse. It measures 25.7mm long, 20mm wide and 8.5mm thick. The lugs on the reverse are widely spaced, and are not central. Unfortunately they are broken which makes it impossible to determine the function of this object. If both lugs had circular holes, the object could be a strap mount. Late Saxon cast Borre-style disc brooch. Corroded purplish metal. Worn decoration of concave-sided lozenge with each of the four corners extended to form interlaced, double-contoured knots. The centre is perforated where the sunken circular field has been removed (probably deliberately), surrounded by a narrow circular band. A copper alloy Anglo Saxon small-long brooch. The central headplate is square with three integral flat, semi-circular wings surrounding it. Below the headplate, the bow is arched and broken, with the foot missing. The headplate and the wing plates are all decorated with two concentric rings and a pellet at the centre. The reverse has a single, pierced lug on the headplate for the pin. However the lug is broken. It measures 41.4mm x 26.9mm x 6.8mm, weighing 6.36g. For similar examples see LIN-DB1483 and BH-427834.

A copper alloy Early Medieval fragment from a small long brooch. It consists of the foot only, which is flared, and above which are two raised bands of transverse moulding. Each is decorated with three lines, and there are a further two horizontal lines above them. On the reverse the remains of the catchplate protrude from behind the decorated area and 18mm from the foot terminal. The brooch fragment measures 29.24mm in surviving length and is 6.4mm wide. The splayed foot terminal, with one corner missing due to old breaks measures 14.14 mm in surviving width. The object weighs 3.23g.

A cast copper-alloy button brooch of early-medieval date (Avent and Evison Class Aii; 5th - 6th century AD). This example is incomplete in so far as its iron pin has largely been lost to corrosion. The rim is upturned (H.: 3.1mm) and very slightly flared. The upper surface is decorated with a central moulded anthropomorphic face-mask viewed straight on within a border. A cast lead Late Saxon brooch. The brooch is circular and flat. It has been decorated on the front with a ladder-style border. Inside this are three crescents, each decorated with the ladder-style border. There is a raised crescent inside each one. There is a Y-shaped field between the crescents. There is a central, large pellet and a row of smaller pellets in each arm of the 'Y'. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The remains of the lug and catchplate can be seen and these have been arranged longitudinally. Both parts are badly squashed and damaged. No pin survives.

The brooch would probably have had a raised rim, but this is missing on this example. On the reverse, the edge of the brooch is curved, making the back like a very shallow dome.
