Penannular brooch, Overall the brooch is oval in plan with a curricular cross section frame and a small gap in between the terminal. The terminals are a moulded square shaped. In the centre of each of the terminal is a cross which is made up of four crescents arranged so their backs face the middle of the terminal
This type of brooch corresponds with Fowlers Type G (1964, 107-109), with a suggested date range of the 6th and 7th centuries (Fowler, 1964, 117) and are though to be a Sub-Roman type

Early-Medieval copper-alloy strip brooch, length 40mm, width 23mm, thickness 1mm, weight 4.28g. The brooch consists of an undecorated flat lozenge-shaped plate. The integral spring emerges from the top corner of the brooch and coils once before straightening to form the pin; the rest of the pin is now missing. At the opposite corner is a small protruding rod that is bent back on itself and would have acted as a catchplate.
Geake (2001, 23-24) notes that recent examples from North Lincolnshire and Sedgeford (Norfolk) have confirmed a Middle Saxon date for this type of brooch, with t…

Copper alloy annular brooch of quoit type, internal diameter 25mm, external diameter 39mm, thickness 2mm, weight 6.16g. This is a flat annular plate with a hole for the pin. On the opposite side, on the inside edge, is a small tapering rectangular notch flanked by raised lips 5mm long and 2mm wide. The tip of the pin could pass through the notch when securing the brooch a garment, and then be held in place by the raised lips. Cast copper-alloy annular brooc,h length 40mm, width 27mm, thickness 3mm, weight 6.37g. The ring is 8mm wide and 3mm thick with a gentle bevelled outside edge, the underside is concave, the surface of the piece is plain. There is a constriction for the pin which has an oval cross-section 2mm wide, 1.5mm high. The brooch has been broken resulting in one third of its mass missing, the original diameter would have been 40mm. The overall condition is fair, most of the original patina remains, although there is some corrosion on the extremities.

Penannular brooch, the frame has a curricular cross section 3mm diameter, brooch would have had an oval shape with a large gap between the terminals of about 12mm. The terminals are a moulded square shaped 5mm wide 5mm long and 3mm thick. In the centre of each of the terminals is a ring and dot motif, there is a slight trace of red enamel associated with the ring and dot. The artefact has been silvered. Copper alloy cloisonné disc brooch, diameter 28mm, thickness 6mm. The decoration comprises cloisonné enamel disc covering most of the face of the brooch of, this pattern consists of a centre square copper alloy cell in which there is a creamy/white enamel, around there edge are evenly spaced semicircular cells containing blue enamel, with the resulting space in between filled with a green enamel that is shaped like a seven pointed star. Cast copper alloy detachable side knob from a florid cruciform brooch. Length 22mm, width 31mm, thickness 5mm. The knob is mushroom-shaped and highly decorated, in the form of a face mask with large round eyes in the centre; there is a rectangular projection above this which would have been attached to the head plate of the brooch. On the reverse of this rectangular projection are two small copper-alloy rivets. These are also just visible from the front of the brooch and so it seems likely that they are separately made, perhaps representing a modification.

Copper-alloy disc brooch, length 41mm, width 39mm, thickness 11mm, weight 13.32g. The brooch is a slightly uneven oval, made from sheet copper alloy only 1mm thick. Running around the circumference of the face is an incised line 3mm from the edge; there is also a ring and dot in the centre. All have been cut or carved into the surface.

Copper alloy equal armed brooch comprising of two opposing triangular plates that are joined by an arched bow. The brooch is decorated with recessed linear and ring designs depicting a bordered face-mask on each plate which are consistent with Style I. The decoration comprises of, on one plate, a cluster of three small rings in the centre with a double line below and a ring in each corner, while on the other plate are two rings with three lines below, and a ring in the tip. An early early-medieval (Anglo-Saxon, c. 450-550), copper alloy button brooch that has a circular base decorated with four opposing double crescents who's arch points towards the middle creating a central cross pattern with narrowed arms a large rectangular hub. This is surrounded by an upturned rim. Gilding still remains in the recesses of the decoration.
On the reverse are the remains of the catch plate and pin mount, unfortunately only the base remains of both items.

Late Saxon Anglo-Scandinavian disc brooch dating to the period c. AD 900 - 1000. The front exhibits cast Borre-style decoration comprising a concave-sided lozenge with a central circular domed stud. Each of the four corners of the lozenge extends to form interlaced, double contoured knots. One side is truncated resulting in the loss of about 30% of the brooch. Incomplete copper alloy penannular brooch of an enamelled zoomorphic F1 Type.
The frame of the penannular is D-shaped in cross-section and decorated with a series of closely packed transverse lines. The terminal is an expanded triangle that has a highly decorated top surface forming the stylised head of a beast. Copper alloy Early Medieval small long brooch. This is broken at the top of the bow resulting in the loss of the headplate. The bow is formed from a small and simple arch that heads to the foot consisting of a long flat panel that extends at the base to from an expanded crescent or square terminal, unfortunately the lower edge is now damaged. Running around the border of the plate is a stamped border (sub-triangular stamps) that leads up onto the flat panel, where there are a series of small transverse ridges.

An incomplete small, long copper alloy brooch of probable Early Medieval date (AD.500-700). The object comprises the foot and small part of the bow most of the bow. The foot is oval shaped with two diagonal notched lines in the centre creating a chevron and two small recessed lines on the forward edge. To the rear the arch of the bow has a D-shaped cross-section, at the truncated terminal is the remains of a dished recess that may have held a stone.

An Early Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy disc brooch dated to AD450-550. The item is a flat circular disc the face is decorated with a hole in the centre that is surrounded by an engraved ring. Evenly spaced around the disc are six roundels that consist of a pellet centre surrounded by two concentric rings. The face is coated in a white metal.
