A cast copper-alloy brooch of the Anglo-Saxon tradition, dating c. 500-600. This appears at first sight to be a square-headed brooch, but is in fact a developed form of cruciform brooch, which Leeds classified as his type C2. Compare FAKL-505DF6. The brooch is incomplete and found in two pieces: the headplate and the bow and foot. The headplate had a rectangular central panel with a line bordering the left and right to distinguish it from the wings. The central panel bears a a cross in relief inside a rectangular border. A cast copper-alloy cruciform brooch foot terminal of the Anglo-Saxon tradition, dating c. 475-600. Only the foot of the brooch remains, consisting of the horsehead terminal. This is decorated in relief, with a double band across the width distinguishing the foot of the brooch from the terminal. Raised triangles indicate the 'ears' of the terminal, with triangular eyes in low relief leading to an elongated muzzed, with a slight raising of the semi-circular end of the muzzle. A copper-alloy Fowler type G penannular brooch dating to the Early Medieval period, c. 500-600. The brooch is incomplete, with approximately 50% of the frame remaining. The frame is sub-circular in section and decorated on the obverse and reverse with moulded ribbed decoration. The terminal is sub-rectangular in plan and consists of a flat, central lozenge with triangular corners bevelled down. In section, the terminal is sub-rectangular.
