Early Medieval? copper alloy brooch fragment, 32mm long, 15mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brownish patina and weighs 13.10grams. It is sub rectangular in form and section and is broken at both ends. It appears to form an animal head like those which appear on early Medieval brooches. It has a rounded upper edge with a flat top and a triangular sectioned 'snout' which terminates with a flat edge.

Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch fragment, 50mm long, 44mm wide and 10mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a brownish patina and weighs 19.54g. The object has been well made but is suffering from various forms of corrosion.
It consists of a central headplate which has a large central panel, with a thin recessed panel at each side. Attached to this are three integrally cast half-round knobs; each is identical, with a base and waist below the hemispherical dome. They are distinctly rounded, not elongated as many knobs are.

Early Medieval copper alloy brooch fragment, 44.8mm long, 9.2mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in poor condition with a brown patina and weighs 4.54grams The object consists of the lower part of a cruciform brooch which is missing a lot of its surface. It is rectangular in form and begins with a stylised animal head which is sub semi-circular in section and has bulging eyes. There is a rectangular area above it which may have a decorated border. The reverse shows the base of a long catchplate.

Early Medieval copper alloy brooch fragment, 40mm long, 8mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 5.48grams. The object forms the terminal of a cruciform brooch. It is rectangular in form and section and has a stylised animal head forming most of its surface. The object is very worn but the animal eyes can just be seen close to its centre.

Early Medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch fragment, 68.4mm long, 50.4mm wide and 18.7mm thick (at bow) weight unknown. The brooch is good condition and has a good green patina. The brooch consists of a rectangular shaped head plate with two trapezoidal side plates, all plain. There are two integral semi circular(?) knops. early Medieval copper alloy and gold brooch fragment, 36mm long, 20mm wide and 10mm thick. The brooch is in poor condition with a powdery green patina and weighs 16.82grams. The object consists of a curved bow which has a raised rectangular protrusion in its centre which is picked out in gold. part of the head plate survives and is decorated with incisions picked out in gold. behind this is a two semi-circular copper alloy lugs which hold the remains of an iron pin.

Early medieval copper alloy, gold and enamel brooch, 25.5mm in diameter and 5.5mm thick. The brooch is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 5.39grams. The brooch is circular and has a series of six circular protrusions around its edge, these may have held enamel but are now hollow. Early Medieval copper alloy brooch foot, 27mm long, 15mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 2.92 grams. The object is sub rectangular, but appears to have originally been triangular in form as it has damage to both sides. It has traces of a border of punched triangles and its upper edge is the lower part of a shaft with raised horizontal bands. The reverse contains the remains of a catchplate 12mm long and 2mm thick. The object is most probably an example of a small- long brooch, similar to eg.668, fig.235 in Hattatts ancient brooches.

It is decorated with two or three raised bands which are seperated by three sets of two drilled circles.
The object is either part of the foot plate of a cruciform or small long brooch, or is the lower part of a strap end.

Early medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 62mm long, 29mm wide and 11mm thick. The object is in good condition and weighs 8.86 grams. The object consists of a sub rectangular head plate which has three semi-spherial sectioned, semi-circular knops. There is a semi-circular lug attachment on its reverese and a curved bow emerges from one edge. Below the bow the object consists of a flat 'kite' shaped plate which houses the catchplate and is decorated with a border of stamped crescents, this terminates with a semi-spherical knop which matches the others.

~~Early medieval copper alloy and gold saucer brooch, 42mm in diameter and 4mm thick The brooch is in fair condition and weighs 10.76grams. The brooch is incomplete and quite worn, only part of the original steep sided edge remains. It is decorated with a circular design with what appears to be two very devolved animals seperated by an open rectangular motif. these curl around an open circle and are enclosed by a double linear border. There is a thick line of gold near one of its edges. Its reverse contains the very worn remians of a single lug and catchplate.
