Early medieval copper alloy small long brooch, 32mm long, 18mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 5.65grams. The object consists of the upper part of the brooch, incorporating a rectangular head plate which has two semi-circular lugs on the reverse which are encrusted with iron corrosion. Two semi circular wings are present, top and left and are seperated from the main plate by two incised lines. The upper part of the bow is intact and is decorated with a ridge flanked by two linear depressions, which runs down its centre.

Early Medieval copper-alloy strip brooch, in fair condition, consisting of a flat lozenge-shaped plate which is undecorated except for a scored horizontal line beneath the spring. The integral spring emerges from the top corner of the brooch and coils once before straightening to form the pin. The base of the brooch and its catchplate are missing. 41mm long, 18mm wide and 1mm thick; it weighs 2.04g. Early Medieval copper alloy brooch fragment, 25mm long 17mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 1.82g. It consists of the damaged head plate of a bow brooch, either a small long or a cruciform type., plus a small piece of bow. The headplate is sub-rectangular and appears undecorated. It has an incomplete single pin bar lug on the reverse, broken through the perforation. The top of the bow is thick and rectangular in cross-section, with an incised line. The bow has hints of a longitudinal median ridge. Late 5th or 6th century.

Early medieval copper alloy cruciform brooch foot, 33mm long, 8mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 3.63grams. The brooch is sub rectangular in form and section and has worn sides. It surface contains two evenly spaced raised rectangles. These are decorated with three horizontal incised lines each. At the top of the object it curves outwards forming the base of the bow. The back contains a catchplate c. 20mm long which is damaged. The object matches eg1301, fig 231 in Hattatt, R. 'a visual catalogue'.

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch. Only the upper part of the head remains, consisting of three worn shovel-shaped wings, one at the top of the head, the other two to either side of the head. The central square plate of the plate is decorated with a series of double inverted V's giving the appearance of arrows. The object consists of a flat upper plate with a curved recess in its upper edge, suggesting a circular hole? Below this the object widens, thickens and begins to curve forming a bow. It has broken off where the curve is deepest and the break is extremely worn. It is probably a fragment of a small long brooch.

Early medieval lead alloy brooch fragment 31mm long, 24mm wide and 1mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 4.69grams. The object consists of a fragment of what is probably a disc brooch. It has a border of short lines set with two circular raised borders and inside this is an unclear design. The reverse has a sub spherical knop which may be part of a catchplate. The border is similar to an example found in York (fig 1267, eg 10604, Arch of York 17/14) which depicts a stylised beast.
