A small silver disc, which is probably an unstruck coin blank. The object measures 7.6mm diameter by 1.9mm thick and weighs 0.60g. The size and weight would suggest that this is too light to be a late Iron Age silver unit.

The worn and bent condition of this coin make it difficult to identify. No image is visible on the obverse or the reverse, however the roman numerals IV [---]are legible on the obverse. The silver is tarnished grey and the edges are uneven.

A complete silver possible coin, of possible Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The possible coin is misshapen, possibly due to having been subjected to a heat source. Both the obverse and reverse are unclear. It is possible to make out the remains of probable letters along one edge, reading [ ]IVS[ ].
Diameter: 13.70 mm
Thickness: 1.93 mm
Weight: 1.3 g.
The identification of this artefact as a coin is only a possibility, due to the shape and thickness. It is possibly a piece of undiagnostic casting waste.

A fragment of a probably late Medieval to early Post-Medieval silver coin of foreign issue. Although one face is illegible with unidentifiable decoration, the other face clearly begins with + BRI. The face with the legible legend also seems to be decorated with a flat-topped object, such as a shield, with a fleur extending from each of the remaining upper corners and a further elongated fleur extending from the object's centre. The coin is in a significantly fragile state and has broken into two pieces after discovery.
