UP A single sherd of flint tempered pottery weighing 85g. The sherd is hard fired with a shallow curving neck. The surface is smoothed below the neck with possible burnishing above. The burnt flint inclusions are angular and of small even size, perhaps suggesting that they were sieved before they were added to the clay. Some larger pieces of unidentified material, perhaps quartz, are also present. The sherd is probably Iron Age though a date in the Earlier Neolithic cannot be ruled out.
