A cast copper alloy ring. The ring has a flattened, circular section and chamfered edges. It is worn, with a badly damaged edges with a dark brownish-green patina. Due to a lack of excavated examples it is not possible to date this object. Copper alloy rings like this one have been used through-out history for everything from harness fittings to clothes fittings.

A cast copper alloy pelta shaped object, which resembles a Bronze Age razor. The object is small, measuring only 27.6mm x 17.9mm x 1.9mm. The cutting edge is damaged and the surface is badly pitted. There is an extension coming out of the top of the pelta, which is broken. This object could be Roman but remains largely unidentified.

A light greyish-blue glass bead. There is a central perforation through the bead and it has six faceted sides and it is tear-dropped in shape. The bead is undatable, but could dates from the Iron Age to the medieval period.

What appears to be a cast lead pin head. The head is multi-faceted, with twelve faces in total, six on the upper half and six on the lower, with a ridge around the middle. Each half consists of two roughly trapezoid and four roughly triangular faces rising to form a long-sided point. The remains of the joint where the shaft would have been attached can be seen on the point of the lower half of the head, but the shaft itself has broken away and been lost. The metal is a whitish-grey colour and heavily oxidised.

A lead gaming piece/dice. This artefact is a cuboid, so therefore as a die it is not accurate (the side have different widths and lengths). The faces of the cube are decorated with a dot design; with one dot, two dots, three dots and so on on each face respectfully. The pairs of the sides of the die do NOT all add up to 7. The artefact is complete though very worn. The lead has gone a powdery light greyish-white. It could be Roman, early-medieval in date but could date up to the Victorian period.

A cast copper alloy unidentified object, of unknown date and function. The object is only a fragment of a larger piece, and is formed from a third of a circle. It has a flattened section, with rounded corners. Both ends are broken and the breaks are worn. On one section of the edge of the object there is a short flattened collar. A third of the way around the circumference there are two rounded extensions. The object is a mid reddish-brown colour and the surface is pitted.

Treasure case No : 2010 T253 Silver spoon bowl Date: undiagnostic Description: An incomplete silver spoon bowl. The bowl is sub-oval in shape, with a squared-off edge at the terminal. Neither the interior nor the exterior surfaces of the bowl are decorated, but both surfaces are pitted and exhibit signs of active corrosion. The bowl has broken across its width, revealing a section of two layers. The break is irregular and has removed all traces of the stem attachment or any surviving heel.
