An incomplete base silver, or white metal, object/ingot of uncertain date. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with a square section. Both end terminate in worn breaks.
The metal has a shiny grey patina with patches of green corrosion showing through. The object is 32.5mm long, 7.8mm wide, 6.8mm thick and weighs 10.1g.
The object is regular in form, suggesting it was cast, and no signs of hammering are present. The breaks demonstrate that the metal is brittle. This suggests a fairly recent date for this object.
