A copper alloy stud of Roman to post medieval date (c. AD 43 - 1600). The stud exhibits a domed circular concavo-convex head measuring 9.88mm in diameter. The shank projects from the centre of the reverse and is square in cross-section. It is slightly bent and tapers from a width of 2.29mm to a width of 1.68mm, terminating in an old break.
The stud measures 9.88mm in diameter, 9.88mm in length and weighs 0.80g.

An incomplete unidentified copper alloy object of uncertain date. The object consists of a flat curved piece of copper alloy which takes the form of the body of a fish. The sides gradually flare outwards to form a pair of fins on either side of the object, each with three grooves incised on each fin. The fins then taper inwards to form the body of the fish, gradually tapering and curving to the now missing tail. An incomplete copper alloy probable ingot of uncertain date (c. 1600 BC - AD 1100). The object is trapezoidal in shape with a rectangular cross-section. It commences in an old break at which point it is 14.79mm wide and 8.33mm thick. It then tapers in both width and thickness to a width of 10.91mm and a thickness of 4.44mm at which point it terminates in an old break. It measures 38.64mm in length and weighs 28.19g. An unidentified copper-alloy object, shaped somewhat like a large pin, of uncertain date. It is 50.71mm long with a rectagular end, 5.69mm by 3.33mm in cross-section. The main shaft is slightly oval in cross-section and tapers from c 4.70mm in circumference to a point. it is not straight, the rectangular end bending slightly downwards from the whole.
The rectangular end has possibly three toe-like mouldings creating the impression of a paw.

A stone possible linen smoother of uncertain date. The artefact is a large pebble which has been ground or polished flat to make it cuboid. One surface is highly polished and a darker red colour than the rest of the stone which is a matte dark brown-red with veins of a darker mineral running through it.
The object measures 61.34mm in height, 54.68mm in width, is 55.16mm thick and weighs 240g.

An incomplete copper alloy unidentified object consisting of hook of uncertain date. The hook comprises a circular strand of copper alloy which has been curved at one end to form a deep hook with a flattened section next to the point, which curves out slightly. At the other end the hook has been flattened and splays outwards as well as curving convexly away from the hook. The end of the flattened section is incomplete and there is an uneven break which appears to be at the point of a perforation through the hook.

A lead weight of uncertain date (c. 800BC - AD 1600). The weight is circular with flat faces and measures 39.32mm in diameter. It features a central circular perforation measuring 17.66mm in diameter. Each face is decorated with two concentric bands of incised crescent shapes. The band is also decorated with a concentric band of incised crescent shapes. The lead has an off white patina which has been damaged in places to reveal a dark grey core.
Theweight measures 39.32mm in diameter (internal diameter 17.66mm) and is 18.30mm thick. It weighs 47.96g.

A lead spindle whorl of uncertain date (c. 800BC - AD 1600). The spindle whorl is circular with one flat face and one domed face. It measures 26.12mm in diameter and features a central circular perforation measuring 8.16mm in diameter. The lead has an off white patina and has been dented on one side. This is old damage as the dent has the same patination as the rest of the object.
The artefact measures 26.12mm in diameter (internal diameter 8.16mm) and is 9.01mm thick. It weighs 27.79g.

Two gilded copper alloy objects of uncertain function and uncertain date. The objects are boradly similar and will be referrred to as A and B. Given their similarity and the fact that they were found together, it is likely that they were part of the same object prior to being damaged.
Object A is circular and consists of a circumferential ridge incised with transverse grooves, within which sits a higher circumferential ridge which forms the setting for a domed blue glass bead. The sides have been shaped into eight facets above and below the hemisperical ridge. One face has been incised with four transverse grooves. The opposite face is slightly indented. The lead has a thick white patina with grey patches showing where damage has occurred.
The artefact bears some similarities to Roman trade weights

A copper alloy Roman to medieval (AD c.43-c.1500) awl. Overall, the awl measures 48.3mm long, 5.5mm wide and 5.2mm thick. It weighs 4.69g. The awl is rectangular in cross-section for half its length and circular in cross-section for the other half. Each half narrows to a point. The rectangular cross-sectioned part would have formed the tang and would have been inserted into a handle and the other point would have been the functional end.

A copper alloy fragment of a possible prick spur of uncertain date (possibly medieval to post-medieval - AD c.1100-c.1700), missing all but the goad and a length of the shaft connecting it to the back of the spur. Overall, the fragment measures 29.7mm long and 11.0mm in diameter. It weighs 6.11g. The goad is conical with a slightly flattened point. It measures 12.8mm long and 11.0mm in diameter. The shaft is circular in cross-section and measures 17.1mm long and 3.8mm in diameter.
