A Roman hooked harness mount. The mount has a circular domed body, concave on the back, with a pair of rounded side projections and a large central knop. A small hook with a rounded end emerges from the lower side of the dome. From the other side emerges a pelta-shaped plate with an inscribed branching or herring-bone pattern. An integral rivet projects from the back of the plate.
