Small copper alloy nummus cut from a follis of Magnentius (350-3), SALVS DD NN AVG ET CAES, Chi-Rho type, 352-3. This appears to be from a regular coin, rather than being a copy of a cut-out coin. Such coins might have been made in the aftermath of the 354 decree that outlawed large nummi. However, it is also argued that such coins were made later in the 4th century.
