An incomplete base silver denarius of Caracalla (AD 198-217); VENVS VICTRIX reverse, minted at Rome, AD 213-217. RIC Vol. IV (part I), p. 259, no. 311(b).
The central portion of the coin remains, most of the legend having been lost. The remaining coin is slightly worn and corroded. The piece measures 13.9mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 0.81g.
