A denarius of Caracalla (AD 198-217); PART MAX PM TR P X reverse. The surfaces of the coin are worn and corroded. It measures 19.4mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.82g.
The images and legends on this coin are well executed. The obverse and reverse legends, though, do not fit chronologically and there is no exact match for this coin in RIC. It is, however, noted in RIC (Vol IV, part I; p. 261-262) that a number of hybrid denarii were issued under Caracalla, some (as with this coin) being struck in heavily debased silver.
